Tom Weir was born in Abilene, Texas, to Grady and Mildred Weir one of seven children.
As a young man of 18, Tom joined the Navy serving four years on the destroyer U.S.S. Kidd. He was very proud and often reminisced about his time crossing the world's oceans. When he returned home from the service, he met the love of his life Rosalie Scottino in Dallas Texas.
They had a beautiful family together, eight children & celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary before Rosalie died in 2013. Together they ran several small businesses in Dallas. And their home was always open to all.
Nothing made Tom happier than having someone to share stories with. One of his most memorable sayings, Have I told you everything I know yet? Will be fondly remembered all those who knew him.
He is survived by his children Gianna Weir, Andrew Weir, Camille Semprun (Anthony), Dominic Weir, Mary Madeline Arredondo (Reyno), Vincent Weir, Rosemary Coursey (Corey), Tommy Weir; siblings Kerry Weir, Janie Milburn, Mary Pat Featherstone; and nine grandchildren who he loved and adored.
