

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elsie Carrye and Mack England ; sisters, Dovie Wall Tuck, Inez Brock, Geneva England, Glenda Brown and brother-in-law, H.D. Brock. Troy graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in 1955 and some time at UTA; was in the Army 1955-1957; worked for Dallas Fire Department 1958 - 1988 and later the Corsicana Fire Department 1988 - 1999. “Troy served in the Dallas Fire Department from 1958-1988. He achieved the rank of Deputy Chief and was instrumental in putting the Dallas Fire Department's current EMS system in place. The Dallas EMS system became one of the prototypes of other Emergency Medical Services developed afterwards throughout the nation. Troy served as Chief of the Corsicana Fire Department from 1988-1999. “Surviving family members are is his wife Rae England, son Michael England, daughter and son-in-law, Laura England Albright and James Albright, son Paul England, daughter-in-law, Yukari Tasaka;grandchildren: Lizzie Albright, Bekah Albright, Ella Albright, and Milo Tasaka England; brother and sister-in-law: Mack Douglas and Joyce England; brother-in-law: Jim Brown.
