While Uma’s time with us was far too short, she will leave a lasting impact on our family. We will miss her big smiles, her patience and her constant sweetness. We will miss her big blue eyes and beautiful dark hair. We will miss the intense love and joy we felt when she would fall asleep in our arms (luckily - all the time - Uma loved to sleep on Mom and Dad). We mourn the loss of future memories and her enormous potential in the world.
There will be a Mass for Uma at 11am on Thursday, March 24th, at St. Monica Catholic Church.
Her formal memorial will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 26, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Following the memorial there will be a reception at the Treece-Canales household (10248 Sherbrook Ln.m Dallas, TX ,75229) at 12pm.
Uma is survived by her mother, Gaby Canales; her dad, Alex Treece; as well as her two older brothers, Henry and Eli. Uma’s passing is preceded by her grandfather, Carlos Canales.
