Born September 24th, 1942 in Coalisland, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland near Belfast Yvonne was the 5th of 7 children to Jack and Veronica McNulty. In keeping with her adventurous spirit Yvonne left her homeland to travel the United States in 1963, spending time in New York, Colorado and California among other locations before settling permanently in the Dallas area where she first met Caryl Chaplin in 1966. Yvonne and Caryl were married at Saint Monica Catholic church in Dallas. Yvonne retired from Bank of America after 32 years and became a flight attendant with American Airlines. She left American Airlines after the birth of her first grandchild Emma but subsequently enjoyed 15+ years of marketing work at Ad Image. Known for her big Irish accent and even bigger heart Yvonne will be dearly missed by her loved ones and wide network of friends at Frisco Lakes. Yvonne enjoyed gardening and occasional trips to Fredericksburg and Las Vegas, but most of all Yvonne enjoyed spending time with her family with recent emphasis on quality time with her grandchildren.
Thank you to the medical staff at Vitas Hospice for their care and support over the final 3 weeks. A very special thanks to the “Girls of Frisco Lakes” for everything they’ve done in loving support of Yvonne and the Chaplin family, we will never forget.
