Mr. Phillips was born August 25, 1947 in Marshall, MO. He lived in many places throughout his early career and following his marriage to wife Angela in 1984 moved to Amarillo. Wayne was employed at Pantex from 1984 until his retirement in 2005.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Angela Phillips of Irving, TX; two sons Drew Phillips and wife Jessica of Amarillo; Brett Phillips and wife Shelly of Leander, TX; and a grandson, Luke Phillips of Leander, TX.
Visitation will be 12:30 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX. Services will follow visitation with Pastor Jeff Cates of Canyon officiating.
The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
