

Will moved to Dallas at a very young age and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1936. Will was fond of saying he’d also graduated from the “school of hard knocks”. He was employed in the title insurance business until 1942 at which time he joined the United States Army Air Force. After completing his flight and combat trainings, he was assigned to the Eighth Air Force in England during 1944. Will was awarded four Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross for having flown 35 B-17 missions over Germany and occupied Europe. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in September 1945.
In 1947 Will opened the first branch office in Dallas for Hexter Title Company on Gaston Avenue, and in 1950 he opened his own title office on Mockingbird Lane.
Will was an avid golfer, huntsman and fisherman. He enjoyed a good game of Gin or Dominoes with his friends at Lakewood Country Club where he was a member for many years. He was also a member of the 390th Bomb Group Veterans Association and the East Dallas Exchange Club.
Will was predeceased by a stepson, Clint Rushton, on November 12, 2011. Survivors include his loving wife Virginia (Pat) Duncan Kline, son Vincent A. Kline of Lynchburg, Virginia, granddaughters Grace Kline of Brooklyn, New York and Christinia Kline of Leadville, Colorado. Step children Ruthann Westerfield, and Robert Rushton; grandchildren, Nichole Rushton, Jessie Rushton, Jennifer Rice, Misty Rushton, Kristy Rushton, and Cassy (Ruben) Ortiz; and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jax, and Aubrey.
Funeral services will be held Monday October 15th at 12:00 noon at Sparkman/Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, Texas. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas on October 15th at 2:30 pm. Pallbearers include Vince Kline, Robert Rushton, David Rodriguez, Alan Rodriguez, Scott Duncan and Joe Jr. Duncan.
Visitation at Sparkman/Hillcrest will be Sunday, October 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
