William Ojeda entered eternal rest on December 1, 2021 in Carrollton, TX. He was born on February 24, 1933 in Sherman, TX. William proudly served his country in the Korean War with the United States Army as well as serving in the 49th Armored Division of the National Guard. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, playing poker and gambling. His favorite snack was pecans – any chance he had to pick and eat, he did it. William adored his family. Any opportunity he had to spend with them brought him pure happiness, pure peace. He will be remembered as a generous man, a caring man who did not have a single mean bone in his body. He put others before himself and gave all he had. William will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lupe Ojeda; daughters, Carolyn Ojeda and Katherine Mercado; brothers, Phillip Delfin, Jay Delfin and Robert Hernandez; sister, Mary. William is survived by those to cherish his memory: daughter, Vivian Alcala and son, Phillip Ojeda and sister, Liz Dunn, 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Friday December 10, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in his honor on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the North Mausoleum Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home at 1 pm.
