Alice Ann (Howard) Ellard was born in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland on May 11, 1937, the daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Connelly) Howard. She died peacefully in her home in New Milford, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Peter Ellard.
She is survived by her four children: daughters Evylin Biro and husband Tommy, Deirdre Ellard, Moira Ellard, son Peter Ellard and his wife Lauren. She is also survived by seven of the biggest joys of her life, her grandchildren: Tamas, Joseph, Sarah, Peter, Edward, Harper and Genevieve. Alice also leaves behind two brothers, Gerry Howard and Jack Howard and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Hers was truly a life well lived. We will remember her and miss her always.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday, December 22 at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield will be private.
