Anna E. Smith

Anna was born in Easton, PA on December 30, 1930, one of thirteen children, to the late Adam, Sr. and Anna Flynn Schaible. She was a 1948 graduate of Easton High School. Anna met her sweetheart, Frank, and they were married for 69 years. Residents of Easton, PA till 1970, they moved to the house that Frank had built for his family in Brookfield, CT.

An active member of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield, she served as a Eucharistic Minister, CCD Teacher, church lector and avid volunteer in church events. Anna was a volunteer with F.I.S.H., delivering food to the homebound and elderly assistance. A loyal sports fan, she enjoyed the NE Patriots and the NY Yankees.

Survivors include her children: Yvonne (Robert) Lynch, Frank, III (Jennifer) Smith, Kathy (Robert) Delaney and Theresa (Keith) Gillotti; her brother: Bernard Schaible; her grandchildren: Robert Lynch, Jr., Daniel Lynch, Teresa Lynch, Adam Lynch, Frank Smith IV, James Smith, Mackenzie Brown, Morgan Fifield, Robert Delaney, Jr., Maggie Smith, Sam Gillotti, Grace Peeples and Ben Gillotti. Also surviving are 18 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, CT with the Rev. George F. O'Neill, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel, CT.

Friends may call half hour prior, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, July 27, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield.
