Arnold Albert Cresci Sr.

Arnold A. Cresci, Sr. age 79 of Brookfield, passed away suddenly on November 27th at the age of 79. Arnold was born April 12, 1933 in Danbury, the son of the late Arthur and Erma (Krupinsky) Cresci.

He was a graduate of Danbury High School, and has been a resident of Brookfield for the past 18 years. Arnold had been employed with the Town of Ridgefield for the past 18 years, working at the Ridgefield Police Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Our family has lost a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was someone who cared more about others than he did himself. He will be missed every day, and never forgotten.

Arnold is survived by his son: Arthur T. Cresci and his wife Joanne of Brookfield, two daughters: Cheryl Cresci of Danbury and Shelly Platz and her husband Brian of Bethel, one sister: Sylvia Cresci of Brookfield, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Arnold was predeceased by his son Arnold Cresci Jr. and his brother Arthur F. Cresci Jr.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday December 4th at 11:00am in the Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street, Danbury. Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday December 3rd from 6 thru 9pm.
