Audrey Rose Dinho

Audrey was born November 14, 1926 in Danbury, the daughter of the late James H. and Phoebe E. (Palmatier) Williams.

A graduate of Danbury schools, she was employed with the Barton Rough Hat Co., Bethel for over 30 years, followed by her employment as a bookkeeper for 17 years with Froelich Trucking Co. Audrey retired after several years of employment with the Barden Corp. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and crocheting.

Audrey is survived by her sons: Gary M. and Mary Alice Dinho, and Joseph M. and Maria Dinho, both of Danbury, her six grandchildren: Jeffrey Dinho, Jason Dinho and his wife Rachel, Jessica Castro and her husband Felipe, Joseph Dinho and his wife Dana, Christopher Dinho and his wife Sherri, and Kevin Dinho and his girlfriend Erin de MaCarty, her six great grandchildren: Conner, Sydney, Ava, and Coral Dinho, Gabriel and Gavin Castro, her brother: Roger Williams and his wife Helma, her sister in law: Anna Williams, along with several nieces and nephews.

Audrey was predeceased by her four brothers: Richard, Franklyn, Robert, and James Williams, and her five sisters: Marvel Fuller, Muriel Hodgman, Marion Houghtaling, Gertrude Chesto, and Tina Shaia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Friday August 8th at Saint Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Thursday August 7th from 5 thru 8pm.
