So sorry to hear this. My thoughts go out to his family. I always thought Barry was such a nice person. You were a very kind and loving man. Your pain is gone now. God will bless you. Rest in peace.

My sincerest sympathy to the Nester family and Charlotte. Barry was the quiet classmate I never really knew until I read of his vast experiences and colorful respected life! So sorry for your loss. I know he will be very much missed by all.

I am very pleased that Barry had such a successful life. I knew him in high school for a number of years as a classmate. He was a likeable guy in school and a bit mischievous.

I was deeply saddened to read of Barry's passing . But my eyes welling up with tears quickly turned to a smile as I continued to read his obituary. What a marvelous life he had and what a marvelous marriage you two obviously shared. Lots of memories from days gone by in JIm Thorpe. When I was finished reading, the first thought that came to my mind was the song "I Did It My Way". Hearftfelt prayers to you.

Heartfelt condolences to the Nester family for your loss. I worked with Barry years ago while in the CFT business with Lear. A gentleman in the truest sense of the word with a subtle sense of humor. I know he is missed.

Joe, it's been so many years since I've seen you that you may not even remember me; but when I saw that your brother passed I wanted to send you and your family my condolences. My prayers go out to all of you and also for your brother.

I had the pleasure of working with Barry when I was a newbie at SSSI and he was a consultant.  I looked for ward to our conversations about Jim Thorpe, PA when he told me stories of the town where my wife and I loved to go rafting.  He taught me quite a few things and I am a better accountant for having known him.  God Rest!

I had the good fortune to cross my life path with Barry in Sept 1981 when he was hired at Sikorsky. He even shared with me some of his Army training publications which I eventually returned to him many years later. With Bill Ochsner Sr. he started what would eventually be a multi-million subsidiary known as Sikorsky Support Services, Inc. He was my supervisor from 1986 to 1989, and he would often come look me up in Cost Accounting after I left SSSI to work on the ImpactII project and run the computer systems rewritten under the project. I learned a lot from him. In 2003 I went back to working for him in SSSI until his 'retirement' in 2006. He was a straight-up kind of guy. Those of us who worked for him were glad we did.  In his post 2006-consultant role he would often ask me for information or old bid models which I would gladly obtain for him. A quiet and private man, and a true patriot of his country, the world will be a smaller place with his passing. Charlotte, I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. He is now in Heaven fishing and giving those wrinkled big smiles with Don and Bill. My deepest sympathies to you and his family.
