Carol A. Marucci

Carol A. (Daly) Marucci, 76, of Danbury, beloved wife of Rocco Marucci, passed away at Danbury Hospital, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Carol was born in Norwalk, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Hegedus) Daly, Sr. She graduated from Norwalk High School and was a longtime Danbury resident and a member of St. Joseph church.

In addition to her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by her sons: Mark Marucci, Rocco Marucci and wife Dawn of Danbury, Robert Marucci and wife Brenda of Naugatuck, Michael Marucci and wife Susan of Sandy Hook, and John Marucci of Danbury, her daughter Michele Marucci and Fiance Donald Olson of Bethel, her sisters, Priscilla Boerum of Henderson, NV and Loretta MacPhee of Danbury, ten grandchildren: Crystal, Mark Jr, Anthony, Jillian, Steven, Matthew, Alexa, Brianna, Hunter and Raquel, two great grandchildren, Aiden and Julianna, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Daly, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Danbury, on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
