He was born in Williamsport, PA on March 14, 1963, son of Frank (Skip) and Joyce Dunlap Crossley of Jersey Shore, PA.
Doug attended Long River Middle School and graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1981. He was a carpenter with Local 326 and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Naugatuck.
Besides his parents, Doug leaves behind his two sons, Thomas Crossley and William Crossley, both of Beacon Falls; his fiancé Litskey Yadan, his brother Christopher Crossley and his wife Kateri of Thomaston, and his sister Lisa Vecchitto (Sal Civale) of Orange; nieces Amber Vecchitto, Molly and Ella Crossley and nephews Joshua Owen and Brian Vecchitto and his wife Kiare. Also surviving are his aunts Jennifer Carson and her husband Lenny of PA, Cindy DeParlo and Christine Fontenot and uncle William Mundell, along with several cousins in PA; his former wife Pattie Crossley and many dear friends.
Friends are invited to call Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3pm - 7pm at Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, May 17 at 11am at the Beacon Falls Congregational Church, 69 Wolfe Ave., Beacon Falls. Burial will follow at Pinesbridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls.
