Erick was born on November 8, 1949, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to James E. Manoni and Raffaela A. Manoni. He attended Central High School in Bridgeport and later graduated from Western Connecticut State College.
On November 25, 1986, Erick married the love of his life, Linda Manoni, in their home in New Milford, where they built a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories.
Erick dedicated many years of service to the Danbury School System, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to helping others. Above all, Erick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Manoni; his daughter, Pamela Pallares, and son-in-law, Luis Pallares; his grandchildren, Keith Luning, Linda Luning, Luis Pallares, and Alisha Pallares; and his great-grandchildren, Liliana Mota, Jeremiah C. Burke, and Lilah Luning. He is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Randy Manoni.
In keeping with Erick’s wishes, there will be no funeral service at this time. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
