Fred was born in Danbury, CT. He served in the U S Army and was a retired paint salesman. Besides his wife, survivors include his seven children: Cindy, Robin, Debbie, Michael, Paul, Pat & Debby; one brother; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. Interment will follow directly in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
