She was born in New Britain, CT on August 10, 1927 to Antoinette (Letourneau) and Pierre Toussaint, the youngest of twelve children. The family settled in Danbury where Georgette attended St. Joseph‘s School. She later was employed by Bard Parker Company. In Danbury she met and was married to Ward A. Talbot for 58 years. Together they established and operated G & W Boat Rental at Squantz Pond State Park for 33 years and later Talbot Vending Company.
Georgette was devoted to her family and truly enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son: Ward J. Talbot and her daughter Gloria Russo of Brookfield, two granddaughters: Jaclyn Russo of Brookfield and Kimberly (Connor) Quinn of Southbury, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who have fond memories of "Aunt Dolly."
Funeral services and burial in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury were held privately.
