Gloria was born in Townshend, VT, daughter of the late Andrew and NoElla Appi. She was a longtime member, Liturgical Coordinator and Cantor for St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.
In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her sons: Allen Raiano and wife NoElle of Newtown, Gary Raiano and wife Tammy of New Fairfield, Mark Hudson and wife Jennifer of New Fairfield and David Hudson of Sherman, her sister Sharon Raiola and husband Tom of Branford, her beloved grandchildren: Alexis, Kylie, Cooper, Sam, Hazel, Henry & Vera. She was predeceased by her first husband Al Raiano, and her daughter Tory Hudson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield, on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
