Ilda de Figueiredo of Brookfield, formerly of Danbury, died October 19, 2011 at Danbury Hospital. She was 84 years old. Ilda was born February 24, 1927 in Portugal and was a longtime resident of Danbury. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, she loved cooking but mostly she enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling.
She is survived by her children Belchior de Figueiredo and his wife Diana of Maine, Carlos de Figueiredo of Sandy Hook, Floripes de Figueiredo of Brookfield, Antonio de Figueiredo of Brookfield, Helena Brodock and her husband Michael of Naugatuck, Maria de Figueiredo and her fiancé Michael Vazquez of Saddlebrook, NJ. She was pre-deceased by her husband Antonio de Figueiredo.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St. Danbury on Sunday from 2 00 to 5 00 pm, where a funeral service will be held Monday 11 00 am. Interment will follow at St Peter Cemetery.
