Jane R. Culhane

Jane R. (Carrizzo) Culhane, beloved mother of Drew W. Culhane, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 5, 2013 at New Milford Hospital. Jane will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Jane was a very involved person in sports, Mustang convertibles, traveling and music. One of her fondest memories was making the Bethel Debs, now the Danbury Debs, and getting a hit off of Joanie Joyce, considered the greatest softball pitcher ever. She loved playing the drums and watching the Yankees and her son play baseball. She was a totally selfless and loving person.

Her survivors beside her son, include mother, Jennie (Staniscia) Carrizzo, brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Deborah Carrizzo. Her nephews and niece include Jason and Holly Carrizzo, Jonathan and Tia Carrizzo, Scott and Shannon Carrizzo and Susan Carrizzo. She is also survived by four great nieces and a great nephew, Emily, Elizabeth, Ellie, Chloe and Lucas Carrizzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, February 9th at St. Mary Church in Bethel. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery will follow. Relatives and friends may call at the Green Funeral Home,57 Main Street., Danbury, on Friday, February 8, 2013, from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm
