Joseph G. Ferraro, age 66, of Brookfield, CT passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Regional Hospice of Danbury surrounded by his family. Joseph was born in the Bronx, New York, on August 22, 1953 to the late Anthony and Wilhemina Ferraro.
Joe enjoyed all aspects of life, from the UCONN Women's Basketball team, the New York Yankees, bowling and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Aggie Ferraro. Joe also leaves behind his children Kristi (Jeff) Bracchitta, Joseph Ferraro, Nicholas Ferraro, and Dana Ferraro, and his three grandsons. In addition, Joe leaves behind his sister Doreen Chiarulli and brother Anthony (Erin) Ferraro and nieces.
Joe's family will be accepting condolences on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Rd., Brookfield, CT.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to Regional Hospice of Danbury or the charity of one's choice.
