Joyce V. Czudak

Joyce was born in Bronx, NY to Albert Zenoni and Elaine (Jones) Zenoni on March 24, 1940. She moved to New Fairfield with her family in the 1950s where she met and married the love of her life Walter Czudak and spent her life in the town she loved.

She worked as a secretary for New Fairfield High School for forty years. She was an avid and accomplished seamstress and did tailoring for the town dry cleaners along with her own at-home tailoring business. When she wasn’t working in the NFHS Main Office, she could be found in her sewing room working on her many craft projects for her family and community. She was a longtime member of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield.

Joyce loved her family as much as life itself. She was devoted to her family and was happiest surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed baking and her biscotti were a family and friend favorite. Holidays and parties at her house were always very special and happy occasions.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Czudak Sr. and sister, Claire Villa.

Joyce is survived by her children Theresa (Teri) Czudak, Walter Czudak (Phyllis Rhodes), and Lauriebeth Czudak: brother Arthur Zenoni (Linda Zenoni): brother-in-law John Villa: grandchildren Rebecca LaBrie (Karl LaBrie), Danielle Czudak (Ryan Ferris), Amanda Czudak (Ben Moody), Brenna Banda (Tarun Banda), and Kassi Sadlier (Rich Sadlier): great-grandchildren Freya LaBrie, Davina LaBrie, Kalyani Banda and Kieran Banda, many nieces and nephews and her beloved Golden Retriever Amber Roo Czudak.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00am Saturday, August 10, 2024 at The Congregational Church of New Fairfield located at 20 Gillotti Rd, New Fairfield, CT and will be officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Yoho.
