Linda J. Barbarotto, age 67 of New Fairfield, ex-wife of the late Benjamin Barbarotto, died peacefully with her sister, Kim, by her side at Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation on the morning of June 5, 2019.
Linda was born in Danbury, daughter of William and Lorraine (Muehlfeld) Falls.
Linda and Benjamin moved to Oklahoma when Rachel and Tim were young. They returned to New Fairfield to raise their children. Throughout her life, Linda worked to support her family. She was employed at National Semiconductor, Druck and GE (Texas).
Linda was always there to help family and friends in need. She would be there with kind words, financial support, a couch to stay on and a smile. Linda was a true friend to all her three (Sunny) and four legged friends.
Linda is survived by her 2 children: Rachel (Melling) and Tim (Susan); and her 2 grandchildren: James Barbarotto and Tessa Melling. Linda is also survived by brothers: William Falls, Russell Falls and Richard Falls; and her sisters: Cathy Snopkoski, Debbie Matula and Kimberly Schneider.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, siblings: Brenda Falls and Lucille Pierce.
The family would like to thank Masonicare Home Health & Hospice of Derby, CT and all of the caring staff at Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation that made Linda comfortable throughout her stay.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT on Sunday June 16, 2019 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Immediately following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at Church of Christ, 90 Clapboard Ridge, Danbury, CT.
