He is survived by his loving and strong partner of 53 years, Betty Ross, and his two daughters, Alli Ross and Carrie Ross-Gingerich and his sons in law, Matt Gingerich and Erich Ludwig. Charles was a fun- loving, present and playful grandfather to his 4 grandchildren Elena (12), Caleb (11), Isaac (9), and Ethan (8). His two brothers, Marc Ross and Richard Ross were his rocks and good friends.
Charles founded the Ross Company as a financial planner, where he was able to use his creative, congenial and charismatic personality. Not only did his clients become his friends, his friends also became his clients.
He was an adventurous traveler, spending 15 years learning Portuguese and traveling to Brazil where he built long lasting friendships and cultivated business. As an avid athlete he enjoyed golfing, swimming, spinning and running track. He loved drawing and painting with his family. One of his biggest gifts was to mentor and empower others to be their best selves.
He will be deeply missed, as he was an influential force in so many people's’ lives.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm on August 27, 2025 at the Candlewood Inn, 506 Candlewood Lake Rd., Brookfield, Connecticut.
