Maria DeJesus Victoria

Maria De Jesus Victoria, 97, of Danbury, CT passed away peacefully at Danbury Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Silvino Henriques. Maria was born in Caldas de Rainha, Portugal on March 15, 1915, a daughter of the late Joao and Maria Da Nazare Felizardo. She immigrated to the United States in 1978. An active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Danbury, Maria devoted her life to her children and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son: Mario V. Henriques of Danbury. Her daughter: Mabilda Vincente of Guisado, Portugal. Four grandchildren: Luis Vincente, Nelia Thompson, Susan Sette and Nancy DaSilva. 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Friends will be received on Monday from 9am to 10am at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
