Born in New Rochelle, NY to Margaret and George Russo on May 4, 1928, Marion attended and graduated from Albert Leonard High School in New Rochelle where she enjoyed and excelled in athletics.
On April 18th of 1954, she married her Vin in New Rochelle. They moved to Mt. Vernon, NY and began a family. Upon moving to Bethel in 1967 she began working at FA Berry elementary as a teachers aid. She truly enjoyed working with “her kids” and did so for many years.
Her greatest joy was sharing time with her grandchildren. They filled her life with joy and purpose. She could always be found at soccer games cheering them on. She was a good cook but an amazing baker. Her cookies were legendary and graced every holiday celebration.
Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; parents; siblings, Margie, Peter and Frankie; and in- laws: Ray, Josephine, Danny, Angelo, Mary, Celia, and Louise.
Marion is survived by her daughters: Denise (Kevin) McMahon, Michele (Richard) Dalbis-Robledo, Lisa (Gregg) Howells; her grandchildren Lauryn (Chad) Quenneville, Ashley (Kerry) Palmer, Courtney (Rob) Tilson, Kristin Dalbis-Robledo, Michael Robledo, Morgan Howells, and Alec Howells. Her great-grandchildren were the lights of her life: Max, Keegan, Reid, and Olivia Quenneville, Ryann and Dylan Palmer,and Robby and Margot Tilson. She is also survived by her siblings: Nick, Danny, Vita, and Gloria and countless nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, CT with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel. CT at a date and time to be announced.

Her daughters would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents at Maplewood Stony Hill in Bethel and River Glen in Southbury. We thank friends and family for making her life beautiful. Our Mazzy, dancing to Sinatra with her Vin, eating Sfogliatella and smiling.
