Nancy L. Shandrowski, 80, beloved mother and grandmother, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, May 16, 2026. She was born in Bridgeport on February 5, 1946, the daughter to the late John Schipul and Florence Lillian Jennings Schipul.
Nancy loved spending time with her family, cooking, reading and her church. She was a vibrant, kind and loving woman to anyone she knew. Nancy was an amazing mom to Amy Eklund and her husband Erik, and Wendy Saladyga and her husband Jeremy and her 5 grandchildren of whom she was so proud. She loved attending the amazing musical and theatrical performances of Nicholas, Christian and Lucia Eklund and the baseball games for Josiah and Bryce Saladyga as often as she could.
Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Alfred Shandrowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family at the Green Funeral Home at 57 Main Street in Danbury from 5-8pm on Thursday June 4, 2026. Funeral will be 11:00am on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 Newtown Avenue in Norwalk.
