Nifa "Nitsa" Kaplanis of Danbury passed away February 24, 2026, at Danbury Hospital. She was 94 years old.

The Rite of Burial will take place Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12:30 pm in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Clapboard Ridge Rd., Danbury. Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury.

The family will receive friends at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
