

Olympia was born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late Joaquim and Patrocina (Fernandes) Coelho. She attended Danbury schools and had worked for many years as a quality control inspector for the former Davis & Geck Company of Danbury. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
In her younger years, her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and gardening. She enjoyed family gatherings and was an avid fan of old Hollywood movies.
She is survived by her son David Borges and wife Maria of Woodbury and her granddaughters, Lauren and Jacqueline Borges, brother Valentine Coelho and wife Lorraine of Monroe; sisters-in-law, Cidalia Aires, and Beth Coelho and brother-in-law, Julio Aires, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Coelho and her sister, Gloria Coelho.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury, on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at the St. Peter Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
