

Pamela J. (Huebner) Mitchell, 72, of Brookfield, died peacefully in her home Sunday surrounded by family. Pamela was born to the late Ruth and Frank Huebner on July 13, 1945. After graduating from Henry Abbott Tech for Nursing she began a 20 year career as a Licensed Practical Nurse while working at the Glen Hill Convalescent Center. Pam retired as Facilities Director at The Gardens Assisted Living Center in 1999.
She loved the company of her faithful dog, “Maggie” who was never ever out of sight; also her loving grandchildren, her devoted children and extended family who she welcomed into her home at any time.
Pam was predeceased by her devoted husband Norbert E. Mitchell Jr.; she is survived by her daughter Audrey Mockovak of Newtown and her son Daryl Stevens of Wingdale, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren Crystal Stevens, Eric Mockovak and Kyle Mockovak. Pam is also survived by cousins and former husband Bones Stevens as well as her Son-in-Law Mark Mockovak.
Calling hours will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Green Funeral Home Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 10 am. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury.
