Peter was born in Norwalk, CT son of the late Robert J. Ward Sr. and Charlotte Lato Ward. He attended Danbury High School and then the New England Fuel Institute in Wooster, MA.
Peter worked at the family business, W&W Heating, with his father and brother. He was a talented artist enjoying: woodworking, drawing, painting and poetry. He enjoyed playing basketball with his brother and the neighborhood kids, while listening to rock & roll.
Peter loved all dogs, but especially the various Springer Spaniels he grew up with. He was very devoted to his Christian faith and had a great sense of humor and a youthful personality, that his nieces and nephews thoroughly enjoyed.
Peter was pre-deceased by his father Robert J. Ward Sr., survived by his mother Charlotte Lato Ward, his brother, Robert J. Ward Jr., sister-in-law Shelia Albanesi Ward, their children Kayla and Bobby; his sister, Donna Ward Doran and her three children; Jack, William and Charlie. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all.
Friends will be received at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT on Tuesday, October 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery located at 81 Riverside Ave., Norwalk, CT.
