Raymond Paul Kubisek

Raymond was born in Danbury, CT to the late Paul and Myrtle (Whitlock) Kubisek. He attended Danbury Schools and was a 1961 graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury.

He worked at Viking Wire and then as the Assistant Building Official for the City of Danbury, where he retired from in 2003. Raymond enjoyed traveling with his wife, Judy, and spending time with his family, especially fishing trips with the boys.

In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, he will be sadly missed by his children: Brian and Stephanie Kubisek of Warren, CT and Lynn Kubisek and Ted Heim of Bridgewater, CT. His siblings: Bernard Kubisek and his wife, Barbara of Bethel, CT, Loretta McLaughlin and her husband, John of Danbury, CT, Janet Reynolds and her husband, William of Bethel, CT, Dennis Kubisek of Danbury, CT, and Thomas Kubisek of Bethel, CT. Judy’s family: June and Gary (deceased) Blazek of Harford, NY, Sandy and Richard Marinaro of Orlando, FL, David and Kathy Bloom of Aurora, NE, Dennis and Barbara Bloom of Sandy Hook, CT, Earl and Melinda Bloom of Otego, NY, Richard Bloom (deceased), and Brian and Donna Bloom of Southbury, CT. Sally and Buddy Devine (deceased) of Harford, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11am on Friday, March 9, 2017 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Interment will be private.

Friends will be received from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
