Socorro (Coring, Lola, Chickee) Hermo Perez died peacefully on 18 December, 2023 in Danbury, CT at the age of 95 years and 70 days. She was born on 09 October 1928 in Midsayap Cotabato Philippines. She settled in Boston, MA in 1966 with her husband, Pedro Perez, and had four children, Robert, Richard, Susan, and Stella. She was a Registered Nurse in the NICU unit at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and retired after 28 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Stella (Perez) Lanphear and son, Richard Perez, along with her grandchildren - Sam Perez and Ben Perez (sons of Richard Perez), Zachary Perez and Alexandra Perez (son and daughter of Robert and Lynne Perez), Jessica Perez (daughter of Susan Perez Bassett), Angela Lanphear and Lia Lanphear (daughters of Stella and Scott Lanphear), and Michael Bassett (son of Susan and Brian Bassett). Socorro is predeceased by her husband, Pedro (2011), her son Robert (2019), and her daughter Susan (2022).
