Sonny Cario passed away at his home in New Fairfield on March 30, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on November 24, 1934 to Alfonso and Antoinette (Fabrizio) Cario. Sonny and his wife Carol (McEnearney) were married for 66 years, and parents to Bill Cario, Cathleen Cario Reece, Cindy Cario Winch and Brian Cario (d. 1990).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 11 at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor, Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield. The family will receive guests from 10 - 10:45 in the church entrance.
