Vincent L. Shannon

Vincent L. Shannon, 57, of Danbury CT passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 17, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth (LoStocco) Shannon and the devoted father of Rose A. Shannon.

Vincent was born in Danbury, CT to Joan (Helgert) Shannon of Bethel and the late J. Richard Shannon. He attended St Mary School in Bethel and was a 1983 graduate of Henry Abbott Tech in Danbury.

He owned and operated Shannon Landscape LLC, a garden and lawn maintenance company for over 35 years, which he took great pride in.

In addition to his mother, wife of 28 years, and daughter, Vincent leaves behind, his siblings: James Shannon (Christine); Daniel Shannon (Susan) and Mark Shannon (Kelly); Noreen Maier; Maura Bergman (David) and Meghan Behnke (James), brother-in law Joseph LoStocco III (Francine), sister-in-law Roseann LoStocco and several nieces and nephews.

Vincent also leaves behind countless extended family and friends, all of whom were fortunate to know his decency, loyalty, good humor and friendship.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at St. Mary Church, Bethel. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends will be received from 4pm-7pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. The family requests that all guest wear a mask and practice social distancing.
