Will was born in Bronx NY., but spent most of his 84 years in New Fairfield, CT.
He was kind and generous to family and friends alike, he was a good soul.
Meticulous and particular, he tended to buy the best and anything he owned was well cared for.
Will was a car buff and was very knowledgeable about automobiles. He was known to take extremely good care of the vehicles he owned.
Will served with the U.S. Army as a truck driver while stationed in Texas and mobilized during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
After working in the garment district and for the U.S. Postal Service in NY, Will changed gears and spent the rest of his professional life as a driver, including 30 years driving for HARTransit in Danbury where he was employed until his passing.
Will was predeceased by his brothers Stephen and Edward Keane and kept a memorial to his brothers on his front lawn. Will was close to his nieces, nephews and cousins and will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Route 37, New Fairfield, CT.
