William served in the US Army as a scout with the 4th AD in Germany. After attending the New York Institute of Finance, William worked in finance as a stock Trader on Wall Street. William was an avid outdoorsman who was happiest being at his home in Connecticut. His sense of humor will be missed by his loving family.
The youngest of six children, William was a devoted son and caring brother to his three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his brother, Michael J Farrell who resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife Dolores.
There will be no calling hours. Interment services with military honors will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY, on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m.
