Yolanda was born June 27, 1958 in Lima Peru, the daughter of Manuel Bellota and Yolanda Omiza, both of Peru. A resident of Danbury since 2000, she was employed as a cashier at both the Stop and Shop Supermarket and Xpect Discounts in Danbury. She was a frequent parishioner of both Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and St. Peter Church Danbury. Yoli enjoyed music and dancing. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, and wit.
In addition to her husband and parents, Yolanda is survived by two daughters, Carmen P. Dubuc and Luciana Dubuc, both of Danbury as well as two brothers and two sisters living in Peru.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Thursday October 20 from 5 to 8pm. A prayer service to take place at 7:00pm. Following cremation, family and friends are invited to attend the burial of Yolanda’s cremains at 11:00am on Sunday October 23rd at the Wooster Cemetery, Section 22, Danbury
