Born in New Bedford, son of Beverly (Lavoie) Beaudoin of Dartmouth and the late Robert Beaudoin, he had resided in New Bedford for several years before moving to Dartmouth. He attended Dartmouth High School.
Karl had worked as a driver for Active Day in Fairhaven, a job that gave him great satisfaction helping those in need. He also owned a filter business.
Karl loved spending time at family gatherings, which gave him great happiness. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf and cherished attending church with his mother. His family and grandchildren meant the world to Karl. He would always end a phone conversation with his mother by saying “I Love You Mom”.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Beverly and her companion Robert is a son, Corey M. Beaudoin and his wife Ashlee; a brother, Craig R. Beaudoin and his fiancé Dara Souza; three grandchildren, Corey Beaudoin, Jr., Amber and Jesse Beaudoin; nieces and nephews, Craig Beaudoin, Jr., Laura Beaudoin, Jessica Rytky, and Jaydin Soares; great niece and great nephew, Danielle Rytky and Marc Souza; his godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lavoie; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Pamela M. Beaudoin and his niece, Heather Wach.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 121 Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
