Al served in the Royal Navy where he trained as an electrician. He emigrated to Canada in 1974 and spent most of his Canadian life in Eastern Passage.
Al had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours there. He also loved fishing - even if the fish didn't always cooperate.
Al is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Jacqui (Glenn); brother, Tom; sister, Mary; stepdaughter, Christine (Steven); stepson, Kevin; and his grandchildren Nicholaas, Devon and Jordan. Along with his parents Al was also predeceased by his brothers Roland, Edward and John; and his sisters Lily and Pat.
Words can't express how much I'll miss your songs, your stories, your jokes and most of all your presence and your love.
Al made many friends over the years and we would love for you all to join us in remembering him at the Buffalo Club, 625 Cow Bay Road, Eastern Passage Sunday July 12 beginning at 1:00 pm.
