Dawn Jennifer Radcliffe

RADCLIFFE, Dawn Jennifer – 36 of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly at home on December 11, 2016. Dawn was in the Army Reserves in the summer of 1997, she graduated from Auburn High School in 1998. She worked for the Coast Guard in the summer of 1998 and participated in Swiss Air 111 cleanup. She was a HRM Library clerk for 19 years, noted for her diligent work. A Registered Caregiver at the Harbour Glen Manor Group Home for 10 years, she was well liked by all residents and staff members. She loved books and old movies, TV series; Judge Judy, Coronation Street. She enjoyed her large British Royalty collection, loved animals, sudoku and swimming. She will be sadly missed by her beloved cat “Daisy”. Dawn was known for her sincerity, her kindness, and the way she cared for others. We will miss her terribly. She is survived by her parents Mark and Shelagh, brother Christopher, grand-mother Phyllis Porter, aunt Gill Street, uncles Keith Porter, Peter Whynot, and many cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John Porter and paternal grandparents Peter and Phyllis Radcliffe. Visitation, Monday December 19, 2016, 6-9 pm, in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth. A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Tuesday December 20, 2016, in Sackville United Baptist Church, 1240 Old Sackville Rd., Rev. Clarence Bungay officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Burial will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA Dartmouth.
