Dennis Lloyd Josey

Nine Mile River. Dennie passed away quietly at home on March 31, 2009. Born in Halifax on April 14, 1933 to Victor and Vera (Ellis) Josey, Dennie is survived by wife, Paulette (Kennedy); sons, Michael (Lisa Beck), Barry (Janice Meredith), Scott (Tracey Wentworth) and daughters, Susan Rector (Dana), Michele Clarke (David) and Victoria. A proud and loving grandfather to Stacey, Megan, Robert, Chris, Ryan, Nicole, Claire, Alexandra, Max, Katie, Ryan and Emma. Dennie attended Queen Elizabeth High School and was a graduate from Halifax Business College before beginning a long career in the insurance industry. He was a member of the Honourable Order of the Blue Goose International and was an active member of the Enfield and Elsmdale District Lions Club. He was an avid fisherman, camper and enjoyed to cook for his friends and family. A service will take place Saturday, April 4, 2 p.m. in Enfield Fire Hall. Reception to follow.
