Donna Thibideau

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Thibideau, on Monday, August 18th, 2025, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, November 2, 1942, she was a beloved daughter of Roy and Bertha (Witt) Facey.

She was property manager in Halifax for the Webber family until she retired. She practiced Tai Chi for many years. She was direct and honest to a fault. She enjoyed socializing with her family and friends. She has fond memories of travelling to Cuba for yearly vacations.

She is survived by her sons, David Thibideau and Paul Thibideau (Dawn); grandchildren, Alisha Thibideau and Luke Thibideau; siblings, Gary Facey, June McKenty (Bob), Sharon MacKeen (Doug), Betty O’Brien and Karen Facey; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Charles Thibideau (2012); brothers Jimmy and Wayne Facey.

Many thanks to her community of extended family and friends. Specific thanks to all her doctors and the caring nurses at Dartmouth General Hospital.

As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
