Doreen Ann Pettipas

It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Doreen Ann Pettipas, 76 on October 28 2025 at Moody Hall, Bedford. Born July 29,1949 in Halifax , NS,s he was the eldest daughter of the late Cyril and Audrey Colford.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband Victor Pettipas and her son in law Jeffrey Cheeseman.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Cheeseman; granddaughter, Rebecca Pettipas-Walsh; grandson, Keegan Pettipas -Repchull; great-grandson, Mateo Walsh; her sisters, Helen Marks (George), Judy Johnson(Bob), Pat Connolly (Jerry) and brother Jim Colford (Mary) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Doreen was last employed with Parks Canada, Halifax where she worked for 25 + years and enjoyed the friendships of co-workers that continued into her retirement.

Her favourite, past times were playing cards, crib, bowling, country music and jive dancing.

Doreen loved just meeting up with friends to talk and share a meal.

There will be no visitation or service. A private graveside burial will take place at a later date.
