Edward George Jeffrey

JEFFREY, Edward George - 68, of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at home, with his darling dog Grace by his side. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Edward and Bernadette Jeffrey. Ed was a proud member of the Nova Scotia Land Surveyors Association. He took great pride in his work, both as a surveyor and during his 14 years at the Halifax Water Commission. He truly enjoyed his work and was highly respected within his community. “Eddie” had many friendships that spanned decades. Most Friday nights would be spent playing music with whoever dropped in. His door was always open and everyone was welcomed with open arms and warmth. He had smooth dance moves, an awesome sense of humour, and the biggest most generous heart. He always had at least one dog, if not more, and they were loved immensely. His family and friends will remember him through a massive collection of fond memories and stories. To say that Ed will be missed is a gross understatement. He will be missed most by his daughter Carli, who he loved dearly and was his pride and joy. Visitation will be held on December 29th from 6-8pm at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home in Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter, in honour of his love for all animals - especially dogs.
