Ellen was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth and was a graduate of the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing in 1960.
She is survived by her husband, Keith, her children Rebecca and Graham, and her brother Donald (Jean Ann).
She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Ethel (Ozon) Conrad, and her brother Robert (Susan).
The family would like to thank the staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital and the QE2 Health Sciences Centre (Camp Hill) for their compassionate care.
A private family committal service will take place.
