Brown, Elsie Geraldine (Parker) – 82, Born in Halifax and of Lake Echo, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2014 in Northwood Center. “Mom” was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching her shows and loved all animals. She will be truly missed by all that knew her quick whit and great sense of humour. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Karen), Lake Echo; Richard (Laura), Coldbrook; daughters Debbie (Tad), Medicine Hat; Donna (Kenny), Lake Echo; Brenda (Neil) and sister Charmaine Renaud, both of Dartmouth, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, loving husbands Lloyd Parker and Herbert Brown, daughter Cheryl Parker grand daughter Brittney, brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held 1pm Friday, February 28, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
