Eva Elizabeth Turple

Turple, Eva Elizabeth (Stevens), It is with great sadness we share the loss of our most precious gift, our mother, who passed away November 20,2014 at the Dartmouth General Hospital, peacefully in her sleep. Born in Port Wallis, She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Frances (Davidson) Stevens. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Fulton. She is survived by her loving husband David, her beautiful children, Merlin, David (Lorena), Billy (Maureen), Kevin (Gladie) daughters, Darlene (Gary), Wanda (David), Shelley (Bill), Debbie (Ronnie), 16 amazing grandchildren and 9 beautiful great-grandchildren. She worked for Stock Transportation for many years as a bus aid. She loved working with the children. She had very strong family values. She loved to cook, bake and entertain. She was a beautiful strong woman, with an amazing spirit and a great passion for life. She cared very deeply and touched many hearts. Visiting 2-4pm Sunday November 23, 2014 at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. A service of her life will be celebrated 11am Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Port Wallis United Church 263 Waverley Road. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Port Wallis United Church in Eva’s memory. She will be deeply missed by her precious Cody and her best friend sister in law Marlene Stevens.
