I love you Nanny Gail ❤️ I think about you all the time…My fondest memories was when I stayed with you were ALWAYS there for me. I misss you!! Our favourite treat was you getting me to make fudge we would eat the whole pan together even if it didn’t turn out. lol. 

I miss helping you around your apartment. 

Christmas time you would buy craft kits for us to make Christmas orderments. I have so many good memories w. You 😇🕊️

Friends come in & out of our lives everyday...but best friends leave a footprint on our hearts forever!! She was my best friend for over 35 years.I miss her everyday. Her smile, her laugh, the silly things she'd do and especially her phone calls! Whenever my phone rings, my heart still wishes it was her! Not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

Aunt Gail often called my mother.  More often than not, when I answered the phone, it led to an honest conversation about how things were going and what was new in my life; not just the polite "How are things?" I will miss these conversations but I will not forget them.  Love Doug.

I remember my Aunt Gail, who was also my Godmother, as a wonderful aunt. She had vim, vigor and an insatiable delight in telling me the adventures of my mother as a teenager. She was michievous and kind and warm and always had a spark in her eye for updates of what I was up to. I was really happy to be able to visit her in Fairview Christmas 2011 and in Dartmouth when visiting in the spring and fall of 2012. She will be truly missed by all of the Farmer family!

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of staying with Aunt Gail during shopping trips with "B"...having tea and a few laughs!  Aunt Gail, you will be missed!  Our sincere condolences, with love, Helen, Mike, Bethany, Braxton & Isla

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Gail's passing this week. Instantly I remembered so many times spent with her, especially her presence at lots of Christmas gatherings, be they with more of the family or just when she would stay with my parents and I. Her kindness was the first trait I learned about her at a young age as she looked after me while my mother was in the hospital. Her presence always brightened our celebrations — I'll always remember.

Aunt Gail Anne had a gift for humour.  She could see the silly side of any circumstance, she could laugh at herself, and when the situation called for it, she could help you laugh at yourself.  My deepest sympathies to all who loved Gail Anne, and during this difficult time, I hope you remember Aunt Gail's wit, recall a great memory, and smile.
