

Glogowski, Gail Anne-66, of Dartmouth, passed away July 9, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, NS she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lavinia (Sparrow) Brophy.
Gail enjoyed a 25 year career as a nurse; much of her time was spent working at the Nova Scotia Hospital. She had a great sense of humour; she was very loving and generous, often helping those in need. Her daughter and grandchildren were her pride and joy, she often called “several” times a day to check in.
She is survived by her daughter, Janna Glogowski, Dartmouth; brother, Brendan Brophy (June), Vancouver, BC; sisters, Heather Gillis, Gatineau, PQ, Helen (Rindress) Fricker, Sydney, Donna (Fred) Farmer, Halifax, and Michelle (Victor) MacLean, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Blake Sampson, Kayla Sampson and Taylor Sampson; great granddaughter, Joscelynn Sampson.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Sunday July 14 in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society.
