

Dillman, Gerald Lewis – 60, died peacefully at home in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on January 21, 2015 in the loving arms of Fay Cromwell, his steadfast partner for nine years. Gerald was born in Halifax and was the son of Thelma (Noseworthy) and the late Ronald Dillman. He graduated from Sir John A. McDonald High School and attended Dalhousie University briefly before beginning his career as a technician for Toledo Scales. Gerald married June Roberts in 1981 and after their separation in 1993 remained active in raising their three children of whom he was very proud. Gerald spent the later years of his life living in Dartmouth, surrounded by friends and in a loving relationship with Fay Cromwell. Gerald is survived by his ex-wife June (Roberts) Dillman, Halifax, his three children, Megan Jean Dillman, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Kaitlyn June Dillman, Halifax and Jeffrey Ronald Dillman, Halifax. Siblings Ronald Dillman, Cold Lake, AB, Margaret (Dillman) Oliver, Sherbrook Lake, NS and Annette (Dillman) Wagner, Chicago. He is preceded in death by sisters Linda (Dillman) Smith, Head of St. Margaret’s Bay and Sherry (Dillman) Johnson, Timberlea, NS and by Jeffrey’s daughter and his only grandchild Heira Lynn Jessome-Dillman, Halifax.
